Can I download Poise yet?
Not yet. We’re testing the AirPods motion pipeline and building the first version. This page shows the intended experience; calibration and reminders are still in development.
Which AirPods will it work with?
Poise is being built for motion-capable AirPods through Apple’s Core Motion APIs, on macOS 14 or later. We’re validating specific models and connection behavior before publishing a confirmed compatibility list.
Does Poise know what “good posture” is?
Poise will measure changes from a comfortable position you calibrate. AirPods sense head movement, not your entire spine. Poise is a gentle awareness tool, not a medical assessment or treatment.
Will it remind me every time I move?
That’s exactly what we want to avoid. Reminders are being designed around sustained drift, with movement filtering and cooldowns. Briefly looking down or turning away shouldn’t become an interruption.
What will it cost?
Pricing hasn’t been set. We’ll share it here when Poise is ready for release.
